Specialty Workshops

Our advanced workshops help you build competence — and confidence — for a suite of challenging situations.

Public Speaking Presentations
– Inspire & Excite

Want to motivate, celebrate, inspire and educate whenever you’re onstage before a large, diverse audience – whether it’s at internal events such as an employee town hall or external situations like a keynote address? Clockwork Talk shows you how to create an experience, not just a speech.

Working from the big picture – with a core message and the right key ideas – in this workshop you’ll learn how to harness the power of storytelling to keep your audience engaged. Then we’ll help you support your message with slide decks and demonstrations that are clean, simple and full of impact. Last, you’ll learn how to develop a dynamic presentation style that energizes and holds the attention of a large group.

Executive Presentations
– Be Powerful & Strategic

Do you need to present to your boss – or your boss’s boss, an executive steering committee, or even to the Board? Whether it’s to report on an issue of concern to a particular executive or to win executive support for your own initiatives, this workshop can improve your success.

In this workshop, you’ll learn how to ask the right questions to accurately assess the situation, allowing you to shape a clear, persuasive message that speaks to the decision-making drivers and personalities of the executives in the room. Oftentimes, your time with executives is cut short and you’ll learn how to structure a message so you get your point across quickly so you’re not at the mercy of the clock or interruptions.

You’ll also learn to work with detailed slide decks or reports that provide the right amount of information to support decision-making and are easy for executives to navigate. Plus, you’ll be able to anticipate potential criticisms or challenges, and be prepared to handle the questions in a way that illustrates the breadth and depth of your knowledge and approach.

Multi-Stakeholder Presentations
– Unite & Move Forward

Need to align – and ally – multiple stakeholder groups with your direction, new department or process? Clockwork Talk will help you choose the key stakeholders to involve – and evaluate their anticipated response and identify their likely points of resistance to your initiative.

In this workshop, you’ll learn how to map a winning strategy for each group, and approach them in the right order to build momentum towards consensus and ultimately your end result. You’ll also learn how to position and adapt the message effectively to win over resistant groups and/or establish common ground.

Expert Presentations
– Simplify & Illuminate

Are you an expert – a scientist, engineer, physician, lawyer, or finance professional – who must turn complex concepts into meaningful information for decision-makers or the public? Clockwork Talk helps simplify this process, so that you can easily distill your expertise into relevant information tools – without dumbing things down.

In this worshop, you’ll learn how to sidestep the technical jargon to enhance your ability to be clear and concise in your message and in your response to questions. You’ll also learn how best to create effective visual aids that communicate nuance and complexity in ways that no verbal explanation can do alone.

Sales Pitch Presentations
– Stand Out & Win

Shortlisted in a competition, and want to stand out from the rest? Sadly, many sales presentations sound all too alike. They’re general, not specific to the pitch, and they tend to talk more about us (the sellers) than about them (the buyers) – and what they might want and need.

In this workshop, you and/or your sales team will learn how to shape a distinct core message and frame information so it speaks powerfully to their needs; create an immediate rapport and presence that instills trust and confidence in your organization’s expertise; create a slide deck that powerfully sells your story even after you’ve gone and prepare to handle the tough questions that may reveal weaknesses.
